Pictor Mulier

When you commission a private erotic portrait, you decide what you want to show, which boundaries you want to maintain and whether you authorize publication of the artwork. My purpose is to transform your desire into a painting, not turn your intimacy into promotional material. Before we begin, we discuss these decisions clearly.

You can dream of seeing yourself become an erotic work of art and still want to keep it entirely to yourself. There is no contradiction. Being proud of your body does not oblige you to share it with anyone. Your freedom also means choosing who may look at you.
Being my Muse does not mean handing me control over your image. It means deciding with me how you want to become a painting.

Can I Commission an Erotic Portrait and Keep It Completely Private?

Absolutely. Painting your erotic portrait does not mean I can show it without your express consent. Commissioning the painting and authorizing its publication are separate decisions.
Most women who commission an erotic painting of themselves from me want to keep it within their private lives. You decide who may see the original and what place it will have in your life.
The commissioned portraits I publish have the express authorization of the women depicted. Others remain private and are not part of my public gallery.
Discretion does not diminish your desire. You do not need to make it public for it to be fully yours.

¿Qué significa dar mi consentimiento para un retrato erótico?

What Does Giving My Consent for an Erotic Portrait Mean?

It means we agree to create a painting with your participation, using the reference material you provide and respecting the boundaries we establish. That agreement does not automatically include publishing your photographs, your name or your portrait.

Consent to Create the Painting

Through your private commission, you authorize me to create the artwork in accordance with the representation we agree on and using the painting technique that distinguishes my work. We also arrange delivery of the original.
Before we begin, we discuss what you want to show, what you prefer to keep private and the meaning you want the painting to convey. If you need guidance, I can offer ideas. Decisions about your boundaries remain yours.

Choosing the Pose and Subject

You decide the pose and subject of the artwork. I can guide you on composition and advise you on translating your idea into a painting, but I do not impose a degree of intimacy you do not want.
Showing your face, keeping it out of view, choosing a quiet scene or exploring a more explicit fantasy are different possibilities. None has to become an obligation.

Consent to Use or Create Photographs and Videos

Photographs and videos are used as references for the agreed commission. If you live close enough and wish me to do so, I can take the photographs myself. I can also explain which images I need so that you or someone you trust can prepare them.
You do not need a professional photo shoot. I need clear, technically useful references for painting. Before you send anything, we can discuss what material is needed and how you want to prepare it.

Consent to Publish the Artwork

Permission to publish is separate from the commission. Some women want me to show their painting on my website or social media. Others do not want anything about the artwork to become public.
Neither choice is better in my eyes. You decide freely.
Agreeing to have me paint you does not mean agreeing to have me publish your photographs, your name or your portrait.

What Happens to the Photographs and Videos I Send You?

I only need the images required for the composition we have agreed on. I will not ask for additional material unrelated to the commission or for images that go beyond the boundaries you have set.
You can start with a conversation. You do not need to send intimate photographs in your first message.

What I Use the Reference Material For

I use your images to prepare the composition and create the painting. First, I show you a drawing so that you can review the proposal. If the material allows different possibilities, I may offer more than one composition.
The references belong to that process. I do not use them for other projects or to promote my work.

Who Can Access the Images?

I work alone and create my paintings myself. I do not share your reference photographs or videos with other people to produce the artwork.
There is a separate option worth explaining: if you want a high-quality photographic reproduction of the finished painting, we can agree to have it photographed at the studio where I have my artworks reproduced. In that case, the studio will see the painting and does not need to receive your intimate reference images.
This reproduction is optional. You can also receive the original and then ask someone you trust to photograph it.

When I Delete the Reference Material

Once the painting is finished and approved by you, I delete the reference material used to create it from my devices and accounts. For commissions that must remain private, we also agree on deletion of any photographs of the artwork and its progress that I retain.
Before we begin, we discuss which files I will use, which you will receive and when I will delete them. This lets you know what is retained during the work and what happens afterward.
Deleting my files does not automatically erase copies that may remain on your devices, on those of someone who prepared the references or in services you use. You should also check those places if you wish to remove the material.

How We Agree on Sending the Material

We can use a shared folder in a service such as Dropbox or Google Drive, with access restricted to our accounts. This allows us to share high-resolution images without relying on transfers that reduce their quality.
We agree on the channel before you send the references. A shared folder does not offer absolute security on its own: it is important to review who has access and not share the link publicly.
When we finish, you can revoke access and delete your folder. I delete my working copies in accordance with our agreement.

¿Qué puedo decidir sobre mi cuerpo y mi representación?

What Can I Decide About My Body and Its Representation?

You decide what you want to show, what you prefer to keep private and the degree of intimacy you want in the painting. My work is to give artistic form to that decision while respecting your boundaries.

What I Show and What I Prefer to Keep Private

We discuss the pose, nudity, degree of explicitness and elements excluded from the composition before we begin.
You do not need to show more than you want for your painting to have erotic intensity. Your body is not there to meet a demand of mine. It is the territory of your own decisions.

Whether My Face Appears or I Prefer a Less Recognizable Image

Keeping your face out of the painting can make it less recognizable, but it does not guarantee anonymity. Other features, such as tattoos, distinctive marks or details of the setting, may also identify you.
Before deciding on the composition, we can discuss which elements you want to show and which you would prefer to leave out. If you do not want to accept the risk of public recognition, keeping the artwork private is an entirely valid choice.

What Fantasy Can I Turn into a Painting?

There is no catalog of fantasies that are better than others. What matters is that the painting responds to your desire, not someone else’s expectations.
In my galleries, you will find different subjects, from the classical nude to images connected with cinema, fetishism or mythology. They can serve as inspiration, not a limit.
If you would like to explore this perspective further, I invite you to read The Right to Be Looked At: Art and Female Empowerment.

How We Review the Composition Before Starting

Once we have defined the main elements, I show you a drawing of the composition. At this stage, we make the necessary adjustments so that you can approve the proposal before I begin painting.
During the painting process, you can choose to receive progress photographs or wait to see the final image. We also agree on what happens to those photographs afterward.
You will find more information about the complete process in How to Commission a Personalized Erotic Portrait of Yourself.

Do I Have to Pose Nude in Front of You?

No. You do not need to pose nude in front of me if you do not wish to or if geographical distance makes it impossible. I can work from photographs or videos you send me.
Some women who live nearby prefer me to take the reference photographs. Others take the photographs themselves or ask someone they trust, following the guidance I give them.
None of these options obliges you to go beyond what feels comfortable. We can talk first and choose the approach that suits you best.

Will You Publish My Portrait on Your Website or Social Media?

Only if you expressly authorize it, and under the conditions we agree on. Creating your painting does not give me permission to use it as a public example.

If I Want My Portrait to Remain Private

It will. I do not publish portraits commissioned on the condition that they remain private. We also clarify which images of the original and its progress must be deleted when the work is complete.
You keep the painting and decide who may see it. You do not need to justify that choice.

If I Want You to Share My Erotic Portrait

Before publishing, we agree on:

  • Which image will be shown.
  • Whether it will be shown in full or in part.
  • Which channels it will appear on.
  • Whether your name, a pseudonym or no identification will appear.
  • Whether any profile will be tagged.
  • Which text will accompany the image.

You decide which publication you authorize and under what conditions. I do not treat your permission for one particular use as authorization for every other use.

What Should I Consider Before Authorizing Publication?

Being proud of your body does not oblige you to publish it. Wanting to share it does not remove the need to agree on how.
Before authorizing publication, I invite you to consider whether you would still feel comfortable with that image in other contexts of your life. You do not need to decide when commissioning the painting. You can keep it private and consider sharing it later.
I can publish the painting without mentioning your name or tagging your profiles. This reduces the direct connection to you, but does not guarantee that nobody will recognize you.
It is also important to distinguish my publication from copies third parties may make. I can remove the image from the pages and accounts I manage, but I cannot guarantee deletion of every copy downloaded, shared or published by other people.

¿Qué pasa si cambio de opinión durante el encargo?

What Happens If I Change My Mind During the Commission?

That depends on the stage of the work and the type of change. This is why it is important to know the conditions before we begin, not when a question arises.

  • Before approving the drawing: we review the composition and agree on adjustments. If you decide not to continue, the conditions agreed for that stage apply.
  • Once painting has begun: we discuss whether the change is feasible and whether it affects the work, delivery time or price.
  • If you decide against publication: the commission can remain private. Permission to publish is separate from creating the painting.
  • If you request removal of a publication: I can remove it from the channels I manage, without guaranteeing that third-party copies will disappear.
  • If you wish to cancel work already underway: the previously agreed conditions concerning the deposit and work already completed apply.

You do not have to decide every detail of your portrait now. You should, however, know the conditions affecting your commission before committing.

Can We Put the Privacy Conditions and Boundaries of the Commission in Writing?

Yes. We can record the agreed representation, your boundaries, the use of references and the conditions of the commission in writing. Wanting clarity does not have to mean distrust.
That agreement can include:

  • The agreed composition and representation.
  • The boundaries you want to maintain.
  • The use and deletion of reference material.
  • Confidentiality conditions.
  • Permission to publish, if any, and its scope.
  • The price of the artwork and delivery conditions.
  • Conditions for changes and cancellation.

Talking clearly about your boundaries does not diminish the creative experience. It allows me to work with the confidence of knowing what you want and what I must respect.

Why Do I Verify Your Age and Identity?

I work exclusively with adults. Before accepting the commission, I need to confirm that you are of legal age and that you are the person who will be depicted in the painting.
An in-person conversation or video call can help us confirm your participation and that you match the reference images. Verifying legal age is a separate matter that must be resolved before we begin, not inferred solely from your appearance.
I will explain which checks are necessary and how to carry them out. I will not ask for information unrelated to the commission.

My aim is to ensure that the artwork comes from your decision and consent, not from someone else’s initiative without your knowledge.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre privacidad y consentimiento al encargar un retrato erótico

Frequently Asked Questions About Privacy and Consent

Can I Talk to You Before Sending Intimate Photographs?

Of course. You can write through my contact page to discuss your idea and boundaries. You do not need to attach intimate photographs to start the conversation.

Can I Commission an Erotic Painting of Myself Without Showing My Face?

Yes. You can choose a composition that does not show your face. This may reduce the likelihood of recognition, but other features can also identify you. We discuss these details before preparing the artwork.

Can My Partner Join the Conversation About the Commission?

Yes, if you wish. Their participation can be helpful if they assist you in preparing photographs or videos. In all cases, I need your direct participation and must respect your decisions about your representation.

Can Someone Commission an Erotic Portrait of Me Without My Participation?

No. I need your participation and explicit consent. If someone wants to give you the experience as a gift, we can prepare an invitation or a voucher so that you can decide whether to go ahead with the commission.

Do I Have to Authorize Publication for You to Accept the Commission?

No. Commissioning the painting and authorizing its publication are separate decisions. Your portrait can remain private without diminishing the value of the project.

Can I Decide Later Whether I Want to Share the Painting?

Yes. You can keep it private and speak to me later about possible publication. If I have already deleted the images of the artwork as agreed, you will need to provide a photograph so that I can publish it with your authorization.
