Original work centred on the female body, visual freedom, and a painterly reinterpretation of cultural imagery.
I am Pictor Mulier, a figurative painter specialising in contemporary erotic painting. My work explores the representation of the female body as a space of presence, desire, affirmation, and visual freedom.
I develop a serial pictorial practice in which eroticism appears not as mere provocation, but as a visual language, a symbolic territory, and a form of female sovereignty.
I am currently developing a collection titled Erotic Homage to the Most Emblematic Dance Scenes in Film History, in which I reinterpret cinematic icons through a figurative language centred on desire, rhythm, visual memory, and the freedom of the female body.
My practice is grounded in real models, direct work from the image, and a pictorial construction based on the layering of acrylic on MDF board.
I am interested in a figurative painting that does not merely represent the body, but turns it into vibration, gesture, temperature, and presence.
I often begin with recognisable cultural references — cinema, mythology, fantasy, or scenes of voluntary exhibitionism — and shift them toward a contemporary erotic painting in which women appear as protagonists, owners of their image rather than passive objects of contemplation.
This series currently brings together six original works inspired by scenes from Gilda, Singin’ in the Rain, Cabaret, Grease, All That Jazz, and Pulp Fiction.
They are not illustrations or nostalgic quotations, but a painterly reinterpretation of cinematic imagery through an erotic, affirmative, and contemporary sensibility.
The collection is conceived as an open and expanding series, with exhibition potential and conceptual continuity.

I have prepared a specific dossier for this collection, conceived for galleries, art consultants, curators, and other art professionals. It includes a concise presentation of the project, its conceptual framework, the main works, the pictorial technique, and the current state of the series.

I hold a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca. My work stands at the intersection of figurative painting, eroticism, visual culture, and the freedom of the female body.
I develop original works and serial projects with particular attention to pictorial density, the symbolic charge of the image, and the construction of a lasting visual presence.
For curatorial inquiries, exhibition proposals, requests for additional images, or access to the full dossier, please feel free to contact me directly.
