Fearless Art for Free souls
I describe my painting as “Fearless art for free souls.”
This definition is, in fact, a positioning statement within the art world.
Why do I paint erotic themes exclusively?
Because they are what truly inspire me. As an independent artist who does not depend on market demands, I can afford the luxury of creating works solely around what genuinely interests me.
And I am interested in women, because I like them. I am interested in sex, because I like it. By combining interest and taste with art, the work that defines me is born.
It is a transgressive, non-conformist body of work that reclaims eroticism as the sole theme of a painting.
Through my work, my models freely express their sexuality. Indeed, the sexuality of my models is the pillar upon which I create. Their pleasure. Their pride in showing their naked bodies. The freedom to defy their surroundings by reclaiming the right to enjoy exhibiting their nudity—the right to be seen. Ultimately, the right to their own intimate pleasure.
Perhaps their pleasure and my painting, when merged into a single work, may not please everyone. Perhaps it is an art that many find too daring to hang on a wall.
Perhaps.
But the truth is, both they and I couldn’t care less.
We will not yield to the pressure of their prejudices to stop enjoying our creativity and our sexuality manifested through art.
